George Curt – President & Broker
George Curt is the founder, President, and Broker of Curt
Insurance, serving individuals and families throughout New
Hampshire and Vermont with health, life, disability, and Medicare
insurance solutions.
With more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry,
George began his career with John Hancock before joining The
Insurance Center in Claremont, New Hampshire, where he became
an owner and helped guide the agency's growth for nearly three
decades. In 2014, he founded Curt Insurance with a commitment to
providing personalized service, expert guidance, and long-term
relationships built on trust.
Based in Sunapee, New Hampshire, George takes pride in helping
individuals, families, and retirees navigate important insurance
decisions with confidence. His approach focuses on understanding
each client's unique needs, educating them on their options, and
helping them find coverage that provides peace of mind for the
future.
Known for his knowledgeable and approachable style, George is
dedicated to serving the communities of New Hampshire and
Vermont with trusted advice and dependable service.
Steven Curt – Vice President & Broker
Steven Curt is the Vice President and Broker of Curt Insurance,
serving individuals and families throughout New Hampshire and
Vermont with health, life, disability, and Medicare insurance
solutions.
Steven joined Curt Insurance in 2025 after returning to the Sunapee area, bringing with him more than a decade of leadership
experience in client service and business operations. Prior to joining the agency, he spent 13 years with Merchants Fleet, where he held several leadership positions before serving as Vice President of Operations. In that role, he oversaw Client Services, Vendor Management, Acquisitions, and Fleet Services, supporting more than 2,000 clients and 180,000 vehicles nationwide.
As part of the next generation of leadership at Curt Insurance,
Steven is committed to carrying forward the agency's tradition of
personalized service and trusted guidance. He takes pride in
building lasting relationships and helping clients throughout New
Hampshire and Vermont make informed decisions that protect their health, families, and financial future.
In recognition of his professional achievements and community
involvement, Steven was named to the Union Leader's 40 Under
Forty class in 2022.
Dawn Collins – Client Support
Dawn Collins has been an integral part of Curt Insurance since 2002, providing exceptional support to clients and helping ensure a positive experience for everyone who contacts the agency.
With more than two decades of experience, Dawn has developed extensive knowledge of Curt Insurance’s clients, services, and day-to-day operations. She is often one of the first points of contact for clients and prospective clients, offering prompt assistance, answering questions, and helping connect individuals with the resources they need.
Known for her friendly approach and attention to detail, Dawn takes pride in delivering reliable service and maintaining the personal relationships that are a hallmark of Curt Insurance. Her familiarity with the agency’s history and client base allows her to provide a consistent and welcoming experience for those seeking guidance and
support.
